As we all know, performance fabrics have become so popular because they are easy to clean and have greater durability than non-performance fabrics. Anyone who has bought furniture likely wants to keep their investment looking new for as long as possible.

Like so many other things in a home, performance fabrics require a level of general care to keep them from degrading over time, especially when they are being used in high traffic areas. There are a few best practices that can help keep your performance fabrics looking beautiful!

  • VACUUM REGULARLY: Dirt and dust can cause fabric to wear faster! We recommend vacuuming your furniture regularly.
  • FLIP YOUR CUSHIONS: Flip, rotate and fluff removable cushions regularly to ensure even wear, which will increase longevity.
  • PROMPTLY CLEAN STAINS: By promptly treating spots and stains, there will be less soil build up on a fabrics surface.
  • ANNUAL PROFESSIONAL CLEANING: Include furniture in your annual Spring cleaning! An extraction cleaning or steam cleaning will keep your performance fabrics looking their best.*high grade or harsh professional cleaners are not recommended or necessary!
